Demands on grant-making trusts and institutional donors are growing year on year. At the same time, donors are coming under increased scrutiny as to why and on what basis they supported an organisation or project. Our Project Assessment and Organisation Due Diligence service are designed to reduce potential risks to donors.
Our comprehensive knowledge of Northern Ireland based charitable organisations means we are particularly beneficial to trusts and donors based across the United Kingdom seeking to engage in Northern Ireland.
Our proven model of investigative research, face-to-face meetings, and comprehensive reporting has been an aid to grant-making bodies over the years. We enable donors to clearly answer the question ‘On what basis did you support that particular organisation?’.
With ever-increasing official regulation together with society’s call for greater transparency in the voluntary sector there is great pressure on trustees to know what is expected from them and how to ensure that they are fulfilling their responsibilities.
Our trailered Governance Training is designed to steer trustees, management boards, and charity directors along the road to good governance standards. In addition to examining the trustee’s responsibilities, we will look at best practice procedures, identify necessary policies and consider the importance of trustee selection and induction.
